Villa 25 de Mayo

It is located at 25 km. from the city of San Rafael, and is considered a realistic museum made of mud(adobe) and the streets are surrounded by ancient trees,. It appeared after the foundation of the Fuerte San Rafael del Diamante (fortress), by the year 1.805 due to the need to build the centre for the population.

The fortress has been declared National Historic Monument and the Church of Our Lady of Carmen still keeps the first images of the village at that time. The village is specially cut out for a reparing rest. It is the obligatory way for those who want to reach Los Reyunos.
