Laguna Llancanelo

At 68 kms. from Malargüe. It is a virgin and natural enviorment, that preserves its appreciated ecological balance in volcanic surroundings conformed by la Payunia and the Nevado mountains. The rareness and variety of the fauna shows black neck swans, ducks, galaretas. Taguas macaes., garza and a large quantity of other birds, many use the lagoon as a stop in between their long migratory trips.

You must  go south of the village by route 40. At  22 kms., it detours to route 186, drive for 43 kms. more until you reach the lagoon.You can only access the reservation with an authorized guide, because this area is controlled by forest guards. 
This place is ideal for photografic safaris, bird sightseeing and enjoing the magestic enchantment of nature.
