Caverna de las Brujas

The Caverna de las Brujas Natural Reservation is located on the Moncol mountain at 1930 meters a.s.l south of the province of Mendoza at 71 km of the city of Malargüe. You can access the reservation by the Malargue department, by Route Nº 40, on the way to the locality of Bardas Blancas.

This is an area of great beauty, where water has carved deep underground galleries, carving on its way different and unique shapes, such as stalactites and stalagmites. In the gallery of the Virgen and Las Flores you can find large spacious spaces with ceilings similar to those of churches where the work of milleniums is revealed as curious formations.

A very particular fauna exists here, adaptated to live wihout sunlight. All these characteristics make the Caverna a place of great attraction for touristic and spedition activities..

At the present only 5.000 meters of the galeries have been covered, but no one has reached the end of its laberynths. You can only visit it with a specialized guide.
